McDaniel had a three golfers compete at the Centennial Conference Championship hosted at Conestoga Country Club.
THE LEADERS
• Zoey Nichols (Princess Anne, Md./Washington Academy) finished 22nd overall to lead the Green Terror with a 36-hole total of 233. She posted a round of 116 on Saturday before carding a round of 117 on Sunday.
FOR THE FOES
• Marymount had the top two finishers in the field. Hunter Gillis and Isabel Trojillo each posted scores of 172 before Trojillo carded a par on the first playoff hole to earn the individual medalist honors.
• The Saints won the team title with a score of 722 (363-359), 95 strokes better than second-place Dickinson. It was the largest margin of victory since McDaniel won by 98 shots in 2003.
THE REST OF THE STORY
• Kathleen Pensabene was 28th overall with a score of 306, posting matching rounds of 153.
• Daniela Babich (Baltimore, Md./Dulaney) was 29th overall with a score of 364 (185-179).
