After a closely contested first half, Gettysburg controlled play after halftime and found the goal twice in the final 10 minutes for a 4-0 win over McDaniel.

• Mikayla Smith (Frederica, Del./Lake Forest) led the Green Terror with six saves.
• Amanda Sponaugle (Milton, Del./Cape Henlopen) made her first defensive save of the season.
FOR THE FOES
• Lauren Beccaria and Henna Fraiman each scored twice for the Bullets.
• Emma Bertrando had three assists.
THE REST OF THE STORY
• Henna Frainman one-touched an Emma Bertrando pass into the backboard for a 1-0 lead just 4:46 into the game.
• Bertrando then found Beccaria, who finished through traffic in the 25th minute.
• The same duo connected again with 9:56 to play on a crossing pass that Beccaria put just inside the post.
• Fraiman capped the day in the final minute, knocking home a loose ball in front of the cage.
THE INSIDE STORY
• Gettysburg finished with a 23-8 advantage in shots, including 16-5 after halftime. The Bullets had an 8-6 edge in penalty corners.
• Emily Paulson (Ashburn, Va./Stone Bridge) took three of the Green Terror's shots.
• Gettysburg remained in contention for the final CC playoff spot with its victory.
