THE SKINNY STORY
McDaniel won two events medals to lead the way to a fourth-place finish at the 2020 ECAC championship hosted at the NY Armory.
THE LEADERS
• Jack Conjelko (Odenton, Md./Arundel) won the mile for the Green Terror's lone individual gold medal, crossing in a time of 4:30.10. He was also second in the 1000 with a time of 2:36.93. His 1,000 time ranks fifth in program history.
• The 4x200-meter relay of Kevin Monroe (Clarksburg, Md./Clarksburg), Zachary Stango (Burtonsville, Md./Paint Branch), Rodney Lewis III (Williamsburg, Va./Warhill) and Nick Razze (Pitman, N.J./Pitman) reset the program record in the 4x200-meter relay from a week ago with a time of 1:30.14 to win the event.
FOR THE FOES:
• The Green Terror placed fourth with 58 points.
• Salisbury won the team title among 21 teams with 93 points, edging Springfield by three points.
THE REST OF THE STORY
• Miky Kisi (Baltimore, Md./Archbishop Curley) earned the silver medal in the 500 with a time of 1:09.60.
• Kevin Monroe qualified fourth in the 60 with a time of 7.17 seconds before improving both his time and finish in the finals, crossing third with a mark of 7.13 seconds.
• Zachary Stango was fifth in the 200 with a time of 23.08 seconds, which ranks fourth in program history.
• Nick Razze finished fifth in the 60 hurdles with a time of 8.81 seconds.
• The 4x400-meter relay of Kisi, Roland Agyemang (Laurel, Md./Laurel), Stango and Razze was second with a time of 3:28.52, which ranks fifth in program history.
