McDaniel had three golfers compete in 36 holes at the Gettysburg Fall Invitational at Hanover Country Club.
THE LEADERS
• Zoey Nichols (Princess Anne, Md./Washington Academy) fired a round of 96 over the second 18 holes to finish with a score of 217 and place 36th overall.
FOR THE FOES
• York (Pa.) won the team title with a score of 636 (323-313), breaking a tie with Stevenson on the five-player score.
• The Mustangs' Casey Oppenheimer won the individual title with a score of 151 (78-73).
THE REST OF THE STORY
• Sera McClintock (West Chester, Pa./West Chester East) fired a two-round score of 206, posting matching rounds of 103 on Saturday and Sunday to finish 34th.
• Mollie Riner (Hanover, Pa./South Western) was 41st with a score of 243 (124-119).
THE INSIDE STORY
• The round of 96 was a collegiate-low round for Zoey Nichols.
