THE SKINNY STORY
McDaniel fired a two-round score of 584 to win the Tom Kinder Memorial by five shots. The Green Terror posted a round of 290 in the first round and 294 in the second round.
THE LEADERS
• Chuck Csejka (Orange, Conn./Amity Regional) posted a three-under par score of 141, firing sub-par scores in each round. He fired a round of 71 on Monday and matched his career low with a round of 70 on Tuesday to register his lowest collegiate 36-hole score. He finished second overall.
FOR THE FOES
• Alex Rubino (Hampden-Sydney) won the individual title with a score of 140, firing a score of 68 over the final 18.
• Bridgewater was second in the 17-team field with a score of 589 (297-292).
THE REST OF THE STORY
• Ryan McGarry (North Easton, Mass./Oliver Ames) finished fifth overall with a score of 143, including a one-under par 71 on Tuesday after an even-par 72 on Monday.
• Kevin Keane (Bethesda, Md./Walt Whitman) was seventh overall with a score of 144. He also posted a one-under par 71 on Tuesday after a one-over par 72 on Monday.
• Christian Garruppo (Hilton Head, S.C./Hilton Head Prep) finished 49th overall with score of 156. He carded a round of 74 over the first round and 82 in the second round.
• Collin MacDonald (Beverly, Mass./Beverly) was 53rd overall with a score of 157. He had a round of 75 on Monday and 82 on Tuesday.
• Adam Gibbs (Virginia Beach, Va./Frank W. Cox) played as an individual and finished seventh with a score of 144. He turned in a career-low round of 70 on Tuesday after a round of 74 on Monday.
THE INSIDE STORY
• Chuck Csejka's round of 70 matched his career low while his round of 141 for 36 holes was his collegiate best and matched the best known round by a Green Terror player.
• Ryan McGarry and Adam Gibbs both posted collegiate-best 36-hole scores.
• The team's 36-hole score of 584 was its second-best all-time.
