McDaniel finished fourth in a field of Division I teams at the Navy Invitational.
THE LEADERS
• Jacob Molina (Odenton, Md./Arundel) led the Green Terror with a 10th-place finish overall, covering the 8,000-meter course in a time of 26:03.34.
FOR THE FOES
• Navy won the team title with 26 points behind five of the top six finishers, including individual medalist Jake Brophy, who posted a time of 24:40.09.
THE REST OF THE STORY
• Wyatt Farace (Owings Mills, Md./McDonogh) finished 34th with a time of 27:55.00.
• Collin Shriner (Frederick, Md./Oakdale) placed 35th with a time of 28:06.36.
• Kai Samuels (Pasadena, Md./Northeast) was 40th with a time of 31:20.53.
• Caleb White (Glen Burnie, Md./Baltimore City College) crossed 41st with a time of 33:54.65.
THE INSIDE STORY
• A total of 41 runners competed at the 8,000-meter distance.
• Jacob Molina turned in the Green Terror's all-time best mark on the course by 92 seconds.
• Wyatt Farace's time was fifth all-time on the course.
• Collin Shriner's time was eighth all-time on the Naval Academy course.
• Kai Samuels' time was 16th all-time for the Green Terror while Caleb White's time was 21st all-time.
• Molina's time was the Green Terror's best 8K time for a freshman all-time.
