Franklin & Marshall, ranked fifth in the latest NFHCA Div. III coaches' poll, scored twice in the second quarter en route to a 4-0 win over McDaniel.

• Paige Ford (Edgewater, Md./South River) led the Green Terror with 19 saves in goal.
• Emily Farrell (Hampton, Va./Kecoughtan) made one defensive save.
FOR THE FOES
• Melissa Gula scored twice to lead the Diplomats.
THE REST OF THE STORY
• Addie Peters knocked home a rebound for the game's first goal in the 22nd minute.
• Just shy of six minutes later, Erin Coverdale found Melissa Gula on the left side to double the lead.
• Gula blasted a shot from 15 yards out just three minutes into the third quarter for a 3-0 lead.
• Abby Straub netted her first of the season on a rebound in the 55th minute.
THE INSIDE STORY
• The 19 saves by Paige Ford was not only a career high but also the most by a Green Terror goalie in a single game since Jessica Horwath had a program-record 27 on Sept. 11, 1999.
