HERSHEY, Pa. – Brandon Vance (Worcester, Pa./Methacton) posted a round of 79 on Sunday to lead McDaniel at the 2018 Hershey Cup at Hershey Country Club in men's golf action.
The Green Terror carded a round of 318 in the first of what was supposed to be two rounds. Monday's round, however, was cancelled due to snow and the first-round results became the final results for the tournament.
Kenyon won the 15-team tournament with a round of 299.
Kevin Keane (Bethesda, Md./Walt Whitman) matched Vance with a round of 79 to finish tied for 31st in the field.
Collin MacDonald (Beverly, Mass./Beverly) and Jack Ouellette (Marlborough, Mass./St. John's) each carded rounds of 80 to finish tied for 40th.
Charlie Csejke (Orange, Conn./Amity Regional) rounded out the McDaniel golfers with a round of 85.
The Green Terror returns to action with a B-Team tournament at the Dickinson Invitational on Tuesday. Tee time is 12:30 p.m. The entire squad returns to action in its home invitational at The Bridges on Saturday and Sunday.
