CARLISLE, Pa. – Billy Emerson (Germantown, Md./Watkins Mill) won the shot put to lead McDaniel at the DuCharme Invitational hosted by Dickinson in men's indoor track and field action on Saturday.

Head of the Class: The following athletes won an event at the meet:
- Billy Emerson won the shot put with a mark of 14.16 meters.
- Caleb White (Glen Burnie, Md./Baltimore City College) won the 55 hurdles with a time of 8.51 seconds.
Standard Bearer: The following athletes hit Centennial Conference-qualifying marks at the meet:
- Caleb White: 55 hurdles, finishing first with a time of 8.51 seconds; long jump, finishing seventh with a mark of 6.19 meters; 55, finishing ninth with a time of 6.88 seconds. He qualified fourth with the same time.
- Billy Emerson: shot put, finishing first with a mark of 14.16 meters.
- Miky Kisi (Baltimore, Md./Archbishop Curley): 200, finishing third with a time of 24.63 seconds.
- Manny Rodriguez: 200, finishing fifth with a time of 24.69 seconds.
- Kai Samuels (Pasadena, Md./Northeast): 400, finishing second with a time of 53.38 seconds.
- Michael Corinaldi: 400, finishing sixth with a time of 55.59 seconds.
- Stephen Porembski (Baltimore, Md./Archbishop Curley): 800, finishing 16th with a time of 2:11.90.
- Alex West (Ashburn, Va./Broad Run): 55 hurdles, finishing fifth with a time of 9.22 seconds; shot put, finishing 11th with a mark of 11.23 meters.
- Alex Mejias (Hampstead, Md./North Carroll): 55 hurdles, finishing ninth in the prelims with a time of 10.01 seconds.
- Patrick Smith (Frederick, Md./Gov. Thomas Johnson): long jump, finishing sixth with a mark of 6.20 meters; triple jump, finishing fifth with a mark of 11.98 meters.
- Taylor Wagner (Dunkirk, Md./Northern): shot put, finishing third with a mark of 13.35 meters.
- JR Yankowski (Sykesville, Md./Century): shot put, finishing seventh with a mark of 11.66 meters.
Top 10 Worthy: The following athletes achieved a mark that ranks in the program's all-time top 10:
- Caleb White now ranks fifth in the 55 hurdles (8.51 seconds).
- Billy Emerson now ranks fifth in the shot put (14.16 meters).
- Miky Kisi now ranks fifth in the 600, finishing second (1:29.75).
