THE SKINNY STORY
McDaniel scored two second-half goals to force overtime then netted the game-winning goal in the final minute of the second overtime to top Bryn Mawr, 3-2.
THE LEADERS
• Megan Quattrone (Carlisle, Pa./Carlisle Area) scored all three goals for the Green Terror.
• Paige Ford (Edgewater, Md./South River) made 10 saves, including five in the extra sessions.
FOR THE FOES
• Maggie Titus made seven saves for the Owls.
THE REST OF THE STORY
• Lydia Fisher knocked home a pass from Emma Hicks just 7:31 into the game.
• Zaynah Moen doubled the lead in the 17th minute.
• Megan Quattrone cut the deficit in half in the 58th minute on a dribble down the right side and to the near-side post.
• Nearly three minutes later, Quattrone drew the game even, finishing on a rebound.
• In the final minute of the second overtime, Meghan Sadler (Blandon, Pa./Fleetwood Area) hit Quattrone at the top-left of the arc on a corner. Quattrone fired the ball and it kicked off the defender's foot and into the top of the goal for the game-winner.
THE INSIDE STORY
• It was the second hat trick of the year for Megan Quattrone.
• Bryn Mawr finished with a 16-14 edge in shots and 9-7 edge in corners.
