THE SKINNY STORY
Muhlenberg needed until after 90 minutes had elapsed to score the game's lone goal and top McDaniel, 1-0.

THE LEADERS
Paige Ford (Edgewater, Md./South River) made 18 saves in goal.
Emily Farrell (Hampton, Va./Kecoughtan) had a defensive save.

FOR THE FOES
• Stephi Rydgren netted the game-winner for the Mules.

THE REST OF THE STORY
• After each goalkeeper made a brilliant save during the second overtime, Muhlenberg was awarded a penalty corner just before time expired. The ball got cleared to the solid line but never cleared past the point for the game to end. Morgan Tietz then fired from the top-right side and Stephi Rydgren was waiting on the back post to tip the ball home for the lone goal and avoid a shootout.

THE INSIDE STORY
• Muhlenberg finished with a 25-10 advantage in shots, including 9-1 in the second overtime.
• The Mules also had a 20-9 advantage in penalty corners.
• The 18 saves were a career high for Paige Ford.
• It was the fourth time this season that the Green Terror had played an overtime game and third contest that went to double overtime. McDaniel is 2-2 in overtime games this season.

McDaniel returns to action at home against Dickinson on Wednesday. Game time is 4 p.m.
