McDaniel took advantage of its lone shot on goal in the first half for a 1-0 win over Haverford.

• Megan Quattrone (Carlisle, Pa./Carlisle Area) scored the only goal of the contest.
• Paige Ford (Edgewater, Md./South River) made five saves in her first shutout of the year.

• Mason McNulty, Roxy Vassighi and Ravenel Davis had two shots each.
THE REST OF THE STORY
• On a corner in the 17th minute, the ball blasted through the defense from the top of the arc before a defender knocked it back out to a waiting Megan Quattrone, who finished from the center of the circle.
THE INSIDE STORY
• Haverford finished with an 8-1 advantage in shots.
• The Fords also had a 19-2 advantage in penalty corners, including taking 15 in the second half but were rarely able to get off shots on the cage.
• It was the first shutout by the Green Terror defense this season. The last shutout was a 1-0 win at Bryn Mawr on Oct. 7, 2017.
