HARRISBURG, Pa. – Janine Borrelli (Rockville, Md./St. John's College) finished seventh with a 36-hole score of 185 to lead McDaniel at the Penn State-Harrisburg Invitational in women's golf action on Saturday and Sunday.
The Green Terror posted a round of 401 on Saturday before only placing three golfers on the course due to illness and, therefore, did not register a team score. Gettysburg bested the field with a score of 730 (368-362).
Borrelli carded a team-best round of 92 on Saturday before firing a round of 93 on Sunday.
Kelsey Kirkman (Chesapeake, Va./Norfolk Academy) finished 12th in the field with a score of 199, posting a round of 98 on Saturday and round of 101 on Sunday.
Sera McClintock (West Chester, Pa./West Chester East) placed 21st with a score of 237 (116-121).
Meg Schlesinger (Frederick, Md./Urbana) registered a score of 95 in the opening round.
McDaniel returns to action at the Gettysburg Fall Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 30.
