ABBOTTSTOWN, Md. – Shawn MacBurnie (Beverly, Mass./St. Mary's Lynn) posted a two-day score of 155 to lead McDaniel at its own spring invitational at The Bridges Golf Club in men's golf action on Saturday and Sunday.

The Green Terror posted the low score on Saturday, sleeping on a two-shot lead with a 307. In conditions that were 30 degrees colder on Sunday, McDaniel posted a round of 323 to fall to third place with a score of 630. Franklin & Marshall turned in a round of 313 over the second round to win with a score of 322. Rosemont was second with a score of 625 (309-316).

MacBurnie was the only Green Terror player to break 80 in both rounds. He posted a round of 79 on Saturday before carding a round of 76 on Sunday to finish 12th overall.

Brandon Vance (Worcester, Pa./Methacton) rebounded to finish 13th overall with a score of 156. After posting a first-round score of 81, he turned in Sunday's low round with a 75.

Brian Norwitz (Germantown, Md./Northwest) finished 30th overall with a score of 160. He was tied for the individual lead with a round of 73 on Saturday.

Christian Garruppo (Hilton Head, S.C./Hilton Head Prep) finished 35th overall with a score of 162 (77-85) while Kevin Keane (Bethesda, Md./Walt Whitman) was 50th overall with a score of 165 (78-87).

Matt Cramer (New Market, Md./Oakdale) finished 15th as an individual with a score of 157. He also had two sub-80 rounds, posting a 79 on Saturday and a 78 on Sunday.

Andrew Gordon (Fairfax, Va./Fairfax) also competed as an individual, finishing 50th with a score of 165 (81-84).

McDaniel returns to action at the Gettysburg Spring Invitational on Thursday. Tee time is 12:30 p.m.
