GETTYSBURG, Pa. – Gavin Gibson (Newark, Del./Sanford) finished 42nd to lead McDaniel at the 2017 Centennial Conference (CC) men's cross country championship hosted by Gettysburg on Sunday.
Time and Score:
- The Green Terror finished ninth with 271 points. A total of 99 runners competed at the 8,000-meter distance. Haverford won its 22nd title in the 25 years the championship has been contested, finishing with 21 points to best the nine-team field by 33 points over second-place Johns Hopkins.

- Cyrus Daroowalla (Westminster, Md./Westminster) finished 94th (31:40.0)

- Alex Panagakos (Hampstead, Md./North Carroll) finished 98th (34:49.6)
- Stephen Porembski (Baltimore, Md./Archbishop Curley) finished 99th (34:51.2).
