GETTYSBURG, Pa. – Janine Borrelli (Rockville, Md./St. John's College) posted a round of 88 to lead McDaniel at the Gettysburg Fall Invitational at The Links at Gettysburg in women's golf action on Sunday.
The Green Terror turned in a round of 364 to finish second as a team. Gettysburg won its own invitational, posted a score of 334 to win the five-team invitational by 30 shots.
In addition to Borrelli's fifth-place showing, Casey Marson (Norwich, N.Y./Norwich) and Meg Schlesinger (Frederick, Md./Urbana) each carded rounds of 90 to finish in a tie for ninth place.
Kelsey Kirkman (Chesapeake, Va./Norfolk Academy) finished 12th overall wth a round of 96 while Allison Isidore (Montclair, N.J./Montclair) rounded out the field with a round of 158.
McDaniel returns to action at the Dickinson Fall Invitational on Sunday.
