Quattrone scores twice in victory

BRYN MAWR, Pa. – McDaniel scored just 4:45 into the game en route to a 4-0 win over Bryn Mawr in Centennial Conference field hockey action on Saturday.

Megan Quattrone (Carlisle, Pa./Carlisle Area) led the Green Terror (2-5, 1-1 CC) with a pair of goals.

Angela Meng led the Owls (0-7, 0-2 C) in goal with 11 saves.

Quattrone got McDaniel on the board early, pushing home a rebound off a Sarah Bach (Manchester, Md./Manchester Valley) shot-and-save.

Gabrielle Yore (Olney, Md./Sherwood) put home her own rebound off a break down the left side for a 2-0 lead at the 16:01 mark.

Emily Houska (Shrewsbury, Pa./Susquehannock) notched her first collegiate goal in the 26th minute off a Quattrone cross from the right side.

Quattrone carried down the right side and scored inside the right post in the 52nd minute.

McDaniel finished with an 18-7 advantage in shots.

McDaniel returns to action at home against No. 6 Franklin & Marshall on Wednesday. Game time is 7 p.m.
