ANNAPOLIS, Md. – Brian Norwitz (Germantown, Md./Northwest) posted a round of 76 on Sunday to lead McDaniel in men's golf action at the Navy Invitational.

Originally scheduled as a 36-hole tournament, Monday's round was halted midway through the morning due to heavy rains. The course became unplayable and the decision was made the cancel the round, making Sunday's round-one scores the final scores for the tournament.

The Green Terror finished with a team score of 313 to place 15th as the only Division III team in the field. Wagner won the tournament with a round of 283.

Norwitz finished 44th in the field with his round of 76 while Brandon Vance (Worcester, Pa./Methacton) placed 54th with his score of 78.

Kevin Keane (Bethesda, Md./Walt Whitman) carded a round of 79 to place 63rd.

Shawn MacBurnie (Beverly, Mass./St. Mary's Lynn) and Mason Woolford (Pasadena, Md./Severna Park) rounded out the competitors with rounds of 80 and 81, respectively.

Christian Garruppo (Hilton Head, S.C./Hilton Head Prep) joined Keane with a round of 79, playing as an individual.

McDaniel returns to action at the Gettysburg Invitational on Saturday.
