ABBOTTSTOWN, Pa. – Casey Marson (Norwich, N.Y./Norwich) carded a round of 95 to lead McDaniel to a third-place finish at the Gettysburg Spring Invitational in women's golf action on Saturday.
The Green Terror posted a round of 389 at Hanover Country Club. Gettysburg won the team title among seven complete teams with a round of 354, defeating Ursinus by 17 shots.
Marson finished tied for 14th individually with her round.
Alex Philo (Phoenixville, Pa./Phoenixville Area) posted a score of 96 to finish as part of a tie for 18th place whie Kelsey Kirkman (Chesapeake, Va./Norfolk Academy) was tied for 23rd with her round of 98.
Janine Borrelli (Rockville, Md./St. John's College) finished with a score of 100 to place 26th while Allison Isidore (Montclair, N.J./Montclair) rounded out the Green Terror finishers in 42nd place with a score of 136.
McDaniel returns to action at the Franklin & Marshall Invitational on Sunday.
