FAIRFAX, Va. – Alex Panagakos (Hampstead, Md./North Carroll) finished 14th in the 500 to lead McDaniel at the Patriot Games hosted by George Mason in men's indoor track and field action on Saturday.
Panagakos finished with a time of 1:07.95, missing the program record by 0.28 seconds, to lead the Green Terror.
Jim Heilman (Baltimore, Md./Baltimore Lutheran) added a 12th-place finish in the 1,000 with the No. 3 time in program history. His mark of 2:36.57 is 1.49 seconds off the record and fastest time run on a flat track.
Thomas Runner (Elkridge, Md./St. Vincent Pallotti) was 20th in the 1,000 with a time of 2:44.85 while Cyrus Daroowalla (Westminster, Md./Westminster) rounded out the competitors on the track, finishing 37th in the mile with a time of 5:36.47.
Brandon Creyer (Blandon, Pa./Fleetwood Area) and Kevin Rosenthal (Glenelg, Md./Glenelg) each hit the Centennial Conference-qualifying standard in the shot put. Creyer placed 19th with a toss of 11.61 meters while Rosenthal was 20th with a throw of 11.02 meters.
McDaniel returns to action at the DuCharme Invitational hosted by Dickinson on Saturday.
