HAMPSTEAD, Md. – Janine Borrelli (Rockville, Md./St. John's College) posted a round of 89 to lead McDaniel at the Stevenson Fall Invitational in women's golf action on Thursday.

The Green Terror took only three golfers to the season-opening event thus not posting a team score.

Borrelli's round of 89 at Piney Branch Golf Course was good enough to place fourth at the five-team tournament.

Casey Marson (Norwich, N.Y./Norwich) matched Borrelli with a round of 89.

Freshman Kelsey Kirkman (Chesapeake, Va./Norfolk Academy) debuted with a round of 102 to finish tied for 13th.

McDaniel returns to action at its own invitational at The Bridges Golf Club on Sunday, Sept. 13. Tee time is 1 p.m.
