MOOSIC, Pa. – Mason Woolford (Pasadena, Md.) fired a 36-hole score of 149 to finish third overall and lead McDaniel to a third-place finish at the Glenmaura National Collegiate Invitational in men's golf action on Sunday and Monday.
The Green Terror posted a round of 310 on Sunday before improving to fire a round of 306 on Monday to finish with a score of 616. Marywood won the 12-team invitational with a score of 305 (303-302).
Woolford carded a round of 74 on Sunday before posting a round of 75 on Monday to finish with his lowest 36-hole score of the season.
Steven Tanen (Laurel Hallow, N.Y./Cold Spring Harbor) finished 13th overall, firing a two-round score of 154. He posted a 78 in the first round before carding a round of 76 over the second 18.
Brian Norwitz (Germantown, Md./Northwest) finished 16th with a score of 156, recording a round of 76 on Sunday before posting an 80 in the second round.
Tim LaSarso Jr. (Queensbury, N.Y./Queensbury) finished 26th with a score of 160 (82-78) while Dominic Seelig (Reading, Pa./Exeter Twp.) 27th with a score of 161 (84-77).
The Green Terror returns to action at the Fred Kravitz Invitational at Oak Hill Country Club on Friday and Saturday.
