ABBOTTSTOWN, Pa. – Alise McNutt (Flourtown, Pa./Mount St. Joseph) posted a two-round score of 178 to lead McDaniel to a third-place finish at the McDaniel Spring Invitational at The Bridges Golf Club in women's golf action on Saturday and Sunday.

The Green Terror combined to post a 36-hole score of 749, carding a round of 381 in temperatures that were at our around freezing for the round on Saturday. On a nearly 10-degree warmer day on Sunday, McDaniel posted a round of 368. St. Lawrence won the six-team tournament in which only five teams completed both rounds with a score of 690 (350-340) behind individual champion Claire O'Neil, who posted a score of 161 (84-77).

All five of the Green Terror's golfers improved their scores from Saturday to Sunday, including McNutt who rallied from a 90 on Saturday to post an 88 on Sunday to finish seventh overall.

Katie Pass (Westminster, Md./Winters Mill) finished 11th in the field of 25 golfers who completed 36 holes, carding a score of 186. She fired a 94 on Saturday before posting a round of 92 on Sunday.

Casey Marson (Norwich, N.Y./Norwich) finished 14th with a score of 189, carding a round of 98 in the opening 18 and a score of 91 over the second 18.

Janine Borrelli (Rockville, Md./St. John's College) finished 16th with a round of 196 (99-97) while Alex Philo (Phoenixville, Pa./Phoenixville Area) was 22nd with a score of 218 (112-106).
