MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – Casey Marson (Norwich, N.Y./Norwich) fired a 91 to lead McDaniel to a third-place finish at the Myrtle Beach Shootout at Barefoot Golf Resort in women's golf action on Tuesday.
As a team, the Green Terror posted a score of 394 on the Norman Course. Hope won the four-team invitational with a score of 354 behind four of the top five individual finishers. Washington & Jefferson's Jocelyn Sudar was the only non-Hope player in the top five, winning the individual title with a round of 82.
Marson finished seventh with her score.
Katie Pass (Westminster, Md./Winters Mill) finished 10th overall with a round of 93 while Alise McNutt (Flourtown, Pa./Mount St. Joseph) finished 16th, carding a round of 101.
Alex Philo (Phoenixville, Pa./Phoenixville Area) finished 19th overall with a score of 109 while Janine Borrelli (Rockville, Md./St. John's College Prep) was 20th with a score of 110.
The Green Terror returns to action against Cortland at the Dye Club Course on Thursday.
