NEWVILLE, Pa. – Jim Heilman (Lutherville, Md./Baltimore Lutheran) finished 116th overall to lead McDaniel at the NCAA Div. III Mideast Regional hosted by Dickinson at Big Spring High School in men's cross country action on Saturday.
Heilman led the Green Terror to a 44th place finish of 52 complete teams with a time of 27:41.4 in the 8,000-meter race. The Green Terror finished with 1,214 points as a team.
Thomas Runner (Elkridge, Md./St. Vincent Pallotti) turned in a time of 29:19.9, crossing 240th overall while Cyrus Daroowalla (Westminster, Md./Westminster) posted a time of 30:16.0 to finish 284th in the 371-runner field.
Kyle Crouse (Keymar, Md./Francis Scott Key) crossed 306th overall in a time of 30:59.8 while Ian Yoshioka (Hopedale, Mass./Hopedale) rounded out the McDaniel competitors in 316th place (31:34.5).
