GREENSPRING, Md. – Jim Heilman (Lutherville, Md./Baltimore Lutheran) won the Shannon Henretty Memorial Twilight Meet hosted by Stevenson to lead McDaniel to a second-place finish on Tuesday.
Heilman finished the 4,000-meter course in a time of 13:01.4. Stevenson won the meet with 25 points.
Chris Jones (Centreville, Va./Centreville) placed fourth with a time of 13:28.1. Alex Panagakos (Hampstead, Md./North Carroll) crossed the line seventh with a time of 13:52.7 while Thomas Runner (Elkridge, Md./St. Vincent Pallotti) was eighth overall in time of 13:54.0.
The Green Terror returns to action at the Centennial Conference Championship on Saturday, Oct. 31. Action begins at 11 a.m.
