ABBOTTSTOWN, Pa. – Casey Marson (Norwich, N.Y./Norwich) posted a round of 89 to lead McDaniel to a second-place finish at the Gettysburg Grey Cup in women's golf action on Sunday.
The Green Terror posted a round of 374 at Hanover Country Club, finishing second to the host Bullets. Gettysburg won the seven-team invitational with a round of 347.
A day after playing the same course in the Gettysburg Blue Cup, Marson improved five stokes to finish tied for fourth.
Bridget McLaughlin (Langhorne, Pa./Wyoming Seminary Upper) also improved from Saturday to Sunday, firing a round of 90 to finish seventh.
Alise McNutt (Flourtown, Pa./Mount St. Joseph) carded a round of 96 to finish 12th while Katie Pass (Westminster, Md./Winters Mill) placed 17th after a round of 99.
Alex Philo (Phoenixville, Pa./Phoenixville Area) was tied for 33rd, carding a round of 114.
The Green Terror is off until the Centennial Conference Championship at Blue Ridge Golf Club on Apr. 26-27.
