ABBOTTSTOWN, Pa. – Alise McNutt (Flourtown, Pa./Mount St. Joseph) carded a round of 88 to lead McDaniel to a second-place showing at the Gettysburg Blue Cup in women's golf action on Saturday.
The Green Terror posted a round of 370 at Hanover Country Club, finishing second to the host Bullets. Gettysburg won the five-team invitational with a round of 339.
In addition to McNutt's fifth-place finish, Bridget McLaughlin (Langhorne, Pa./Wyoming Seminary Upper) finished ninth with a round of 93.
Casey Marson (Norwich, N.Y./Norwich) was tied for 10th with a round of 94 while Katie Pass (Westminster, Md./Winters Mill) placed 12th after a round of 95.
Alex Philo (Phoenixville, Pa./Phoenixville Area) was tied for 24th, carding a round of 118.
The Green Terror returns to Hanover Country Club for the Gettysburg Grey Cup on Sunday. Tee time is 11:30 a.m.
