MOOSIC, Pa. – Brian Norwitz (Germantown, Md./Northwest) posted matching rounds of 75 to lead McDaniel to the team title at the Glemaura National Collegiate Invitational on Sunday and Monday.

Norwitz and Alex Kane (Danvers, Mass./Masconomet Regional) were tied for second place overall after the first round before Norwitz registered the low round of the day on Monday to win the individual crown.

As a team, the Green Terror posted a 36-hole score of 623. McDaniel led the way on Sunday with a round of 307 before posting a score of 316 in much windier conditions over the second 18 holes. Scranton finished second with a score of 627 (313-314).

In addition to Norwitz's 150, Steven Tanen (Laurel Hallow, N.Y./Cold Spring Harbor) added a top-five showing. Tanen posted a score of 154, firing a round of 76 on Monday after a first-round score of 78 to place third.

Kane finished seventh overall with a score of 157, firing a round of 82 on Monday.

Cody Mewhirter (Hampstead, Md./North Carroll) fired a two-round total of 162, carding a 79 in the first round before posting a round of 83 on Monday to finish 20th.

Mike Filler (Baltimore, Md./Open Bible Christian Academy) finished 30th in the field with a score of 167 (83-84).

The Green Terror returns to action at the Centennial Conference Championship at Dupont Country Club on Friday, Apr. 25 through Sunday, Apr. 27
