ASHLAND, Va. – Alise McNutt (Flourtown, Pa./Mount St. Joseph) fired a round of 88 on Monday to lead McDaniel at the Randolph-Macon Invitational in women's golf action.
The Green Terror finished the first day with a score of 400 to sit seventh. The second day of the tournament, scheduled for Tuesday, was cancelled due to inclement weather and the first-round scores were declared the final scores for the tournament. Methodist won the eight-team invitational with a round of 320.
In addition to McNutt's 10th-place finish, Katie Pass (Westminster, Md./Winters Mill) placed 20th with a round of 98.
Casey Marson (Norwich, N.Y./Norwich) finished 33rd overall with a score of 99.
Bridget McLaughlin (Langhorne, Pa./Wyoming Seminary Upper) finished 45th overall with a score of 115 while Alex Philo (Phoenixville, Pa./Phoenixville Area) was 49th with a round of 132.
The Green Terror returns to action at its own spring invitational on Saturday and Sunday. Tee times begin at 8:30 a.m. each day.
