MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – Casey Marson (Norwich, N.Y./Norwich) fired an 89 to lead McDaniel to a second-place finish at the Myrtle Beach Shootout at Barefoot Golf Resort in women's golf action on Thursday.
As a team, the Green Terror posted a score of 380. Denison won the five-team invitational with a score of 347 behind individual champion Carly Schultz's round of 77.
Marson finished fourth with her score.
Alise McNutt (Flourtown, Pa./Mount St. Joseph) finished sixth with a round of 93 while Katie Pass (Westminster, Md./Winters Mill) played 11th, carding a round of 96.
Bridget McLaughlin (Langhorne, Pa./Wyoming Seminary Upper) finished 17th overall with a score of 102 while Alex Philo (Phoenixville, Pa./Phoenixville Area) was 25th with a score of 118.
The Green Terror returns to action at the Randolph-Macon Invitational on Monday and Tuesday.
