MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – Liz Moir (Frederick, Md./Gov. Thomas Johnson) finished sixth overall, carding a round of 92 to lead McDaniel to a third-place finish at the first of two one-day tournaments at Barefoot Golf Resort in women's golf action on Tuesday.
The Green Terror combined to post a score of 385. Wellesley won the event at the Fazio Course with a score of 361 while Hollins carded a round of 366 to finish second.
Morgan Koopman (Finksburg, Md./McDonogh) and Katie Pass (Westminster, Md./Winters Mill) finished tied for eighth with a round of 96.
Alise McNutt (Flourtown, Pa./Mount St. Joseph) was 12th overall with a score of 101 while Bridget McLaughlin (Langhorne, Pa./Wyoming Seminary Upper) placed 14th with a 113.
McDaniel returns to action at the second Myrtle Beach Shootout on Wednesday.
