Paige Messersmith (Phoenix, Md./Dulaney) registered her seventh goal of the season for the Green Terror (3-2), scoring the game-winner in the 53rd minute.
Amy Tamarana tallied for the Mustangs (2-2) with just 17 seconds left in the first half.
In the 50th minute, Julie Little (Walkersville, Md./Walkersville) sent a long hit in from the right side of the field that Jayde Kauffman (Oley, Pa./Oley Valley) corralled on the back post and finished at the 49:25 mark.
Just 3:16 later, Katie Corson (Ocean View, N.J./Ocean City) sent a penalty corner to the top of the circle, where Messersmith whacked it home for the game-winner.
The Green Terror defense withstood a Stevenson push late, highlighted by a Messersmith defensive save in the 66th minute.
Off a corner in the 35th minute, Allyson Moody played a ball to the far post that Tamarana cleaned up on a scramble for the 1-0 lead.
McDaniel opens the Centennial Conference at home against Muhlenberg on Saturday. Game time is 6:30 p.m.
