NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – Morgan Koopman (Finksburg, Md./McDonogh) shot a round of 90 to finish tied for fourth and lead McDaniel to a third-place showing at the Myrtle Beach Shootout at Barefoot Golf Resort in women's golf action on Wednesday.
The Green Terror combined to shoot a round of 382. Vassar won the tournament with a score of 356 behind individual champion Paloma Jiminez's round of 85. Denison posted a score of 377 to finish second.
Alise McNutt (Flourtown, Pa./Mount St. Joseph) was sixth overall with a round of 92 while Katie Pass (Westminster, Md./Winters Mill) was 10th with a score of 99.
Liz Moir (Frederick, Md./Gov. Thomas Johnson) carded a round of 101 in her first collegiate competition to finished 12th.
Katherine Restrepo (Wyomossing, Pa./Wyomissing Area) finished 13th after posting a score of 104.
McDaniel returns to action the Dickinson Invitational on Sunday. Mar. 25.
