Green Terror defeats Westminster, 313-331
NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – KJ Mazurek (Rumson, N.J./Rumson-Fair Haven) fired a round of 75 to finish first and lead McDaniel to a 313-331 victory over Westminster (Pa.) at the Myrtle Beach Shootout at Barefoot Golf Resort's Dye Club course in men's golf action on Tuesday.
David Milnarich and Ryan Spear led the Titans with rounds of 81, tied for fourth.
Paul Kovalcheck (Fairless Hills, Pa./Truman) also carded a round in the 70s for the Green Terror, posting a score of 77 to finish second overall.
Chris Merrill (Kingsville, Md./Fallston) was third overall with a round of 80 while Bryan Johnson (Hampstead, Md./North Carroll) joined Milnarich and Spear in fourth, carding a score of 81.
Greg Bowman (Catonsville, Md./Catonsville) finished seventh overall with a score of 82.
David Paladino (82) and Andrew Edwards (87) rounded out the competitors for Westminster.
The Green Terror returns to action at its own spring invitational on Mar. 26-27 at the Bridges. Tee time is 8:30 a.m. both days.
