Koopman posts 164

KUTZTOWN, Pa. – Morgan Koopman (Finksburg, Md./McDonogh) shot a two-day total of 164 to lead McDaniel to a third-place finish at the Kutztown Fall Invitational in women's golf action on Saturday and Sunday.

The Green Terror combined to shoot a 36-hole total of 697, posting a 359 on Saturday before improving by 21 shots to register a 338 on Sunday.

Kutztown won the title at the seven-team invitational with a score of 627 (318-309).

Koopman posted an 86 on Saturday before firing her first round in the 70s this year with a 78 on Sunday to finish tied for fifth overall.

Alise McNutt (Flourtown, Pa./Mount St. Joseph) finished tied for 10th overall with a score of 170, turning in an 88 in the first round and carding an 82 in the final round.

Katie Pass (Westminster, Md./Winters Mill) tied for 16th overall with a score of 180, scoring a 92 on Saturday and 88 on Sunday.

Katherine Restrepo (Wyomissing, Pa./Wyomissing Area) was 21st overall with a score of 183, registering a 93 in the first round and 90 on Sunday.

Bridget McLaughlin (Lanhorne, Pa./Wyoming Seminary Upper) finished 31st with a 214 (110-104).

McDaniel returns to action at its own Myrtle Beach Shootout at Barefoot Golf Resort on Mar. 13.
