Green Terror notches victory over Rutgers-Camden in Myrtle

NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – Paul Kovalcheck
(Fairless Hills, Pa./Truman) carded a 79 to lead McDaniel
to a 330-344 victory over Rutgers-Camden in men's golf action
on Monday.
Playing in its first competitive round of the spring, the Green
Terror battled windy conditions on the PGA-quality Dye Club course
at Barefoot Golf Resort on a day in which Kovalcheck was the only
player of the 12 to break 80.
KJ Mazurek (Rumson, N.J./Rumson-Fair Haven)
posted an 81 while Greg Bowman (Catonsville,
Md./Catonsville) and Jeff Smith (Elkridge,
Md./Cardinal Gibbons) each finished with a round of 85.
Bryan Johnson (Hampstead, Md./North Carroll)
recorded an 88 while Chris Merrill (Kingsville,
Md./Fallston) registered an 89.
The Green Terror returns to action at the Gettysburg
Invitational on Tuesday. Tee time is 1 p.m.
