Koopman cards 83 in final round of fall
ANNAPOLIS, Md. – Morgan
Koopman (Finksburg, Md./McDonogh) carded a round of 83 to lead
McDaniel to a fourth-place finish at the Navy Lady Midshipmen Fall
Invitational in women's golf action on Saturday.
The Green Terror posted a 360 in the team's final round of the
fall. Gettysburg and West Chester tied for low-round honors with
rounds of 344. The Rams were awarded the team championship on
tiebreaker. Hollins finished third with a score of 359.
The Bullets' Kara McNulty fired a round of 80 to win the
individual crown, three shots ahead of Koopman and Hollins'
Elizabeth Cheng, who tied for second.
Jennipher
Bencriscutto (Oro Valley, Ariz./Ironwood Ridge) posted a round
of 91 to finish tied for 13th while Katherine
Restrepo (Wyomissing, Pa./Wyomissing Area) was tied for 15th
with a round of 92.
Jennie
Weiner (Setauket, N.Y./Ward Melville) shot a round of 94 to
finish tied for 18th.
McDaniel returns to action in Myrtle Beach to open the spring in
March.
