Zamostny finishes second for Green Terror
WINCHESTER, Va. – Jake Zamostny (Mt. Airy, Md./South
Carroll) finished second overall to lead McDaniel to a second-place
finish at the Hornet Harrier hosted by Shenandoah in men's
cross country action on Saturday.
The host Hornets outscored the Green Terror 24-35 and were the
only two teams that scored in the event.
Zamostny completed the 5,000-meter course in a time of 17:10.93,
43 seconds behind Eastern Mennonite's Richy Bikko.
CJ Naper (New Windsor, Md./South Carroll) finished fifth overall
with a time of 17:39.13 while Ron Shriver (Westminster, Md./Francis
Scott Key) was eighth in a time of 18:25.17.
The Green Terror returns to action at the Hood Invitational on
Saturday.
