McDaniel closes out fall with 328 at Links
GETTYSBURG, Pa. – Freshman Drew Bell
(Roswell, Ga./Pope) carded a round of 77 to finish fourth and lead
McDaniel to a sixth-place finish at the Gettysburg Fall
Invitational in men's golf action on Wednesday.
With the starters finished for the fall after the weekend's
36-hole victory at the Peter C. Rossin Memorial Invitational, the
B-Team combined to card a 328 and close out the Green Terror's fall
schedule at the nearby Links at Gettysburg.
Bell finished in a five-way tie for fourth place overall –
five strokes off the pace of individual champion Peter Ruymann, who
shot even-par 72 for the Bullets. Gettysburg won with a score of
313.
Kyle
Chittim (Annapolis, Md./Broadneck) and Jeff Smith
(Ellicott City, Md./Cardinal Gibbons) both fired rounds of 83 to
finish tied for 23rd.
Conor
O'Maille (Frederick, Md./Gonzaga) was 30th after carding a
round of 85.
Alec
Kissell (Ft. Washington, Pa./Plymouth Whitemarsh) rounded out
the McDaniel competitors with a round of 90.
The Green Terror opens the spring schedule with its own Myrtle
Beach Invitational in March.
