Koopman cards 172 to lead Green Terror
SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. - Freshman Morgan Koopman
(Finksburg, Md./McDonogh) carded a career-low round of 85
on Saturday to key a 172 for the weekend and lead McDaniel to an
11th-place finish at the Mt. Holyoke Invitational in women's golf
action on Saturday and Sunday.
As a team, the Green Terror shot a two-day total of 746,
registering rounds of 370 and 376, respectively. St. Lawrence won
the 14-team tournament with a score of 643 (322-321).
Jennie Weiner (Setauket, N.Y./Ward Melville)
recorded a two-round total of 188, shooting a 92 on Saturday and a
96 on Sunday.
Val Saucier (Cockeysville, Md./Dulaney)
finished with a score of 194, shooting a 95 in the first round and
a 99 in the second round.
Nicole Cristy (Towson, Md./Bryn Mawr)
registered a 202 (98-104) while Anna Bencriscutto (Oro
Valley, Ariz./Ironwood Ridge) posted a 203 (109-94).
The Green Terror returns to action at the McDaniel Invitational
on Oct. 8.
