Bowman runs fourth in mile
LEWISBURG, Pa. - Kevin Bowman (Westminster,
Md./Brunswick) finished fourth in the mile in a time of
4:31.29 to lead McDaniel at the Bison Opener hosted by Bucknell in
season-opening men's indoor track and field action on Saturday.
The Green Terror had a quartet of Centennial Conference
qualifiers led by Bowman's finish in the mile.
James Ways (Westminster, Md./Winters Mill)
finished 14th in the 400 with a time of 52.40 seconds, making his
debut with the fifth-best time in program history.
Ken Polk (Berlin, Md./Stephen Decatur) added a
20th-place showing in the triple jump with a distance of 12.46
meters while Jake Nichols (Frederick, Md./Gov. Thomas
Johnson) was 24th in the 60-meter hurdles (9.51 seconds).
The Green Terror returns to action at the Gulden Relays hosted
by Bucknell on Jan. 9.
