Kelvey leads Green Terror at Division III Mideast meet
BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Rob Kelvey (Westminster,
Md./Westminster) finished 56th overall in a time of
26:39.6 to lead McDaniel to 25th-place finish in the 2009 NCAA
Division III Mideast Regional meet hosted at Lehigh in men's cross
country action on Saturday.
The Green Terror finished with 755 points in the field of 45
complete teams. Allegheny won the team championship with 59 points.
Carnegie Mellon (69), Haverford (83), Dickinson (90) and
Elizabethtown (175) rounded out the top five.
Kevin Bowman (Westminster, Md./Brunswick)
completed the 8,000-meter course in a time of 27:44.8 to finish
132nd overall while C.J. Naper (New Windsor, Md./South
Carroll) was 164th overall in a time of 28:27.2.
Ron Shriver (Westminster, Md./Francis Scott
Key) crossed 184th in a time of 28:46.1.
Torin Lehmann (Sitka, Alaska/Sitka) and
Matt Hale (Mechanicsville, Md./Chopticon) finished
in times of 29:42.0 and 30:19.2, respectively.
Graham Miles (Hartford, Conn./Kingswood-Oxford)
rounded out the Green Terror competitors with a time of 31:39.4
