HUMMELS WHARF, Pa. – Alex Campbell (Howell,
N.J./Wall) carded a career-low round of 73 to finish tied
for second place overall and lead McDaniel to a fourth-place finish
at the Susquehanna Fall Invitational at Susquehanna Country Club on
Saturday.
The Green Terror combined to shoot a round of 308, five strokes
behind tournament-champion Franklin & Marshall (303).
Muhlenberg and Wilkes tied for second with a score of 304. McDaniel
finished tied with Susquehanna for fourth.
The Crusaders' Nick Paone won the individual
title with a round of 72.
Battling sickness among the majority of the lineup all week and
less-than-ideal conditions on the course Saturday, Campbell led
McDaniel to its best round of the fall to date.
Paul Kovalcheck (Fairless Hills, Pa./Truman)
posted a scored of 75 while KJ Mazurek (Rumson,
N.J./Rumson-Fair Haven) recorded a round of
77.
Greg Bowman (Catonsville, Md./Catonsville) carded
a round of 83 while Chris Merrill (Kingsville,
Md./Fallston) posted a score of 85.
The Green Terror returns to action at the Vulcan Invitational
hosted by California (Pa.) on Oct. 5-6.
