Garcia joins the staff in 2021 after a successful playing career at Division I Fairfield.

A hitter, she helped the Stags to three conference titles and three NCAA Division I tournament appearances, traveling to Michigan State, Texas, and Minnesota over those three postseasons.

Garcia was named All-MAAC second team as a junior and senior and also earned a spot on the MAAC all-championship team as a senior. She finished her career with 801 kills, 623 digs, 106 blocks, and 892 points.

She earned her bachelor of arts in communication from Fairfield with minors in education and sociology.
