Morales joins the Green Terror staff in 2019.

A native of nearby Frederick, Morales served the past two seasons as an assistant coach at CCBC Catonsville, a member of the NJCAA Division I Region XX. In his two years on staff there, the Cardinals made back-to-back runs to the Region XX semifinals for the first time in program history.

Morales played collegiately for Division I UMBC from 2013-16 as part of a Retreiver program that won back-to-back America East Conference championships in 2013 and 2014. In 2013, the squad posted the best winning percentage in all of Division I and hosted a first-round NCAA tournament game for the first time in program history. He helped UMBC make a run to the 2014 College Cup, reaching the semifinals before falling to eventual national champions Virginia, 1-0.

Morales has plenty of coaching experience at the club level. He coached at Next Level Soccer from 2017-18. He also coached a 2001 (U18) first team and 2007 (U12) second team, who both competed in Eastern Development Program. He led the 2001 first team to the final eight of the 2019 Maryland State Cup. This season, he will be coaching at FC Frederick, guiding a 2003 (U17) group competing in the topflight of the Club Champions League.

He currently holds a USSF F License, a Grassroots (9v9, 11v11) in coaching certificate and is pursuing his USSF D license.

Morales graduated from UMBC in 2017 with a bachelor of arts in psychology and is currently pursing his master's in kinesiology at McDaniel.
