Biography

As a freshman, Martino started in 4 games during a COVID-19 shortened season. He pitched 25 innings, with a 1.80 ERA, a .88 WHIP and 15 strikeouts on his way to a 3-1 record. Martino only allowed a .193 batting average against, and his best showing was against CCNY, with 7.0 innings pitched giving up 3 hits, no runs, and threw 4 strikeouts. 

As a sophomore, Martino pitched in 8 games, starting in 6 of them. He pitched 25.1 innings, throwing for 16 strikeouts. 

As a junior, Martino pitched in 14 games starting in 11 of them. He pitched 52.2 innings with a WHIP of 1.75, and threw 29 strikeouts. Martino had a 3-2 record, and his best outing was against Lesley, going for 4 innings, letting up 4 hits, no runs, and throwing 3 strikeouts.
