LEXINGTON, Ky. - The McDaniel College volleyball team was honored as a recipient of the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Team Academic Award for the 10th consecutive year.

The Green Terror have been honored in 12 of the last 13 seasons, including every year since 2017.

To receive an AVCA Team Academic Award, a team must maintain a year-long grade-point average (GPA) of 3.3 on a 4.0 scale to earn the award for their classroom excellence during the recently completed academic year.

From 2019-22, McDaniel received the additional honor of being named to the AVCA Team Academic Honor Roll that celebrates programs in the top 20 percent of GPAs in their division.
