WESTMINSTER, Md. - The McDaniel College women's lacrosse team hosted No. 11 Gettysburg on Wednesday, falling to the Bullets in its next-to-last home game.
The Green Terror (6-10, 0-7 CC) had three goalies, including senior
Emma Wood, combine for 11 saves.

Kat Thayer led McDaniel with seven ground balls, four caused turnovers, and three draw controls. Junior
Abby Goodman had two ground balls and one caused turnover.

Caleigh Kohr had six saves in making her 13th start of the season while first-year
Nicole Ruther added five in just over 24 minutes.
After scoring seven first-quarter goals, the Green Terror limited the Bullets (11-5, 6-1 CC) to just two second-quarter goals as the visitors led 9-0 at halftime en route to their first shutout victory since 2017.
Meanwhile, McDaniel suffered their first shutout loss since March 27, 2021 when it fell to Washington College at home by the same score.
The Green Terror conclude their 2026 season on Saturday when they host Ursinus on Senior Day. Opening draw is set for 3 p.m.
Prior to the game, the team will honor eight seniors: Thayer, Wood, Kohr,
Avagrace James,
Jordon Gambrill,
Bellina Sargo,
Charlotte Alexander, and
Addison Utterback.
