Men's Lacrosse Falls to 2025 National Runner-Up Dickinson

CARLISLE, Pa. - After a closely contested first half, Dickinson scored 11 second-half goals as the 14th-ranked Red Devils posted a 15-2 victory over the McDaniel College men's lacrosse team Wednesday night on Biddle Field.

Led by nine saves from junior Gabe Wallman, the Green Terror (5-6, 0-2 CC) held the 2025 national runner-up to just four goals on 29 first-half shots.

Wallman finished with 15 saves, his fourth consecutive game and nine this season with at least 10. He faced a season-high 52 shots.

Preston Boyd scored two of his team-high three goals in the first half as Dickinson (7-2, 1-1 CC) took a 4-0 lead at halftime.

The Red Devils scored just 31 seconds into the second half before first-year Colin Fox got McDaniel on the board with 12:27 remaining in the third quarter off an assist from first-year Cutter Stanton.

However, Dickinson scored the game's next 10 goals, including the final six of the third to remain unbeaten in the four home games this season.

First-year Alex Salerni scored his team-leading 18th goal of the season with just over a minute left in the game, extending his goal scoring streak to seven games.

Stanton finished with one assist, four ground balls, and one caused turnover.

McDaniel travels to Franklin & Marshall on Saturday to take on the Diplomats. Face-off is at noon.
